' I don't really feel anything ... It's just so unreal," 21-year-old Phillips says after the season 11 finale on Wednesday.

After a "world record" of 132 million votes, America has crowned guitar-strumming sweetheart Phillip Phillips as season 11's "American Idol." And although most viewers and critics expected him to win it all, Phillips himself seemed shocked that America chose him.

When MTV News caught up with the 21-year-old Georgia native at a backstage press conference after the finale, he still seemed to be coming to terms with his recent win over 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez.

Q: How do you feel?

A: Uh, I'm feeling. I don't know. I don't really feel anything. It's crazy. I'm still a little numb from the whole situation. It's just so unreal.

Q: Did you think you were going to win?

A: Did I think I was going to win? No. Heck no. Did you see Jessica's last performance? Golly. She sang the crap out of that song.

Q: Is this surreal? Is this like a dream come true?

A: Man, it's so unreal. Like I said, it hasn't sunk in yet and it's just such a blessing to have and I'm kind of ready to try to comprehend it all.

Q: Can you talk about your health? Will you get any surgery?

A: Yeah, I'm gonna get some surgery done so I'm gonna get all better for the tour.

Q: How were you able to overcome the pain you must have been in to get through this season and get all the way to the end?

A: Yeah, it was very tough but I had great doctors and great people surrounding me so that really helped out. So, it's just a blessing to be here now.

Q: Can you talk about what happened onstage when you were performing "Home" tonight?

A: Yeah, I wasn't thinking about anything, not even the song. I wasn't really wanting to sing or anything. And I just started thinking about the whole journey, how far all of us had come and how far we had made it and it was just so overwhelming.

Q: When you auditioned did you think you would be standing where you are right now?

A: Honestly man, I didn't think I'd even make it to see the judges because, like I said, man, I have no shame in saying that I'm not a great singer. You know, I just love having fun up onstage jamming with the guys and just playing good music man. You know, I like getting the crowd into it. Music's fun dude. It's takes away a lot of things that's going around.

Q: Are you all cried out or do you think you might cry a little more?

A: I might end up crying some more. I hate crying but I'll probably cry some more. It feels good at times.

'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' Delayed To 2013, Adding 3-D

Paramount pushes back release date from this summer to March 29, 2013, in hopes of better box office internationally.

For those of you who were eagerly anticipating the June 29 release of the "G.I. Joe" sequel, your wait just got longer. In a surprise bit of movie-schedule shuffling, Paramount has pushed back the release of "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" from this summer to March 29, 2013.

Why the nine-month delay? The studio wants to convert the film into 3-D. According to Deadline, Paramount made the move in hopes adding 3-D will translate to more impressive box office numbers internationally.

"We're going to do a conscientious 3-D job, because we've seen how it can better box office internationally," an unnamed studio exec revealed to the site. "Jim Cameron did all of 'Titanic's' 3-D in post — and look how well that movie turned out."

Paramount told MTV News the studio's only concern is making the best movie possible and the movie will be best in 3-D. A representative for director Jon Chu declined to comment on the release-date change.

Deadline points out the fact that this is not the first time Paramount has pushed back a release, and it has been rewarded for that decision: The delay of Martin Scorsese's "Shutter Island" resulted in the director's biggest box office hit to date. Also, the March release date has been proven to have major moneymaking potential in the wake of the global success of "The Hunger Games."

An argument can be made that the release-date change is all about dollar signs, much like most decisions in Hollywood. We could also speculate that another reason for the move might be the pressure of having to perform well against the likes of seemingly unstoppable juggernaut "The Avengers" and the very highly anticipated July 20 release of "The Dark Knight Rises."

Check out everything we've got on "G.I. Joe: Retaliation."

Willow Smith Gets Playful With The Paparazzi

Whip My Hair singer Willow Smith, 11, was spotted exiting her hotel in New York City on Tuesday (May 22). The youngest child of actor Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith got cheeky with the snapping paps as she playfully stuck out her tongue and walked past the flashing bulbs.

Known - and criticized - for her highly eclectic and edgy fashion sense, the famous tween chose an ensemble of leather leggings, studded cut-off jeans and studded purple loafers for her day out in NYC.
