Lindsay Lohan is adamant she did NOT drink wine, beer or liquor during her stint on house arrest ... insisting her dirty test was caused by a fermented tea that contains a TEEEENY amount of alcohol.
Lohan has been telling friends she's been drinking her favorite kombucha tea again ... the same tea that caused her probation officer to raise a red flag earlier this year because it contains alcohol. The company behind the drink claims the alcohol content is less than .05%. Of course, the judge ruled that Lindsay is ALLOWED to consume alcohol during her house arrest sentence ... so the dirty test didn't matter anyway. TMZ spoke with Lindsay about the situation ... and she told us, "I am responsible, and I'm following the rules and obeying my judge and the Los Angeles judicial system."She adds, " I'd like to do what I must to get my film career back and the respect of directors, actors, writers, studio heads, fans and so on." Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have been tight-lipped about their relationship so far. Luckily, a picture speaks a thousand words!
The adorable snapshot above was taken by celebrity photographer Terry Richardson on a recent evening in New York City. According to Richardson's Tumblr, he snapped a few pics of the couple after having dinner with them in Soho. Richardson photographed the three of them on a park bench on Thompson Street, then moved out of the frame to capture Aniston, 42, and Theroux, 39, alone.
It's a great picture -- not least of all because, up until now, we've only seen the couple in blurry paparazzi pictures or posing awkwardly at public events. Now we see Aniston glowing even more than usual, with Theroux's arm around her, her nose adorably squished in his beard, and her hand across his lap. And just look at that smile on Justin's face! Could anybody doubt that they're in love?
The best part: There's no need to feel guilty for thinking they're a cute couple; according to People, that rumor that Aniston broke up Theroux and his longtime girlfriend, Heidi Bevins, is totally untrue.
"I know people are saying that Jen broke them up, but they had been on-and-off-again for years," a friend of Justin's tells the magazine. And a source close to Aniston concurs, saying that she "would never hook up with a guy who has a girlfriend."The friend adds that Aniston is "very happy with Justin." But of course, if you looked at the photo, you already knew that!

She passed away back in 2007 and today (June 23), the US Supreme Court ruled against Anna Nicole Smith's heirs, bringing an end to their $88-million claim to the estate of her late husband, J. Howard Marshall.
According to breaking reports, a legal battle first began in 1995 when the 89-year-old oil magnate died and Smith, who was 27 years old at the time, discovered that her late husband had left his entire fortune - estimated at $1.6 billion - to his son Pierce Marshall, despite the fact that, according to Smith, J. Howard Marshall had promised to leave her $300 million.
Since then, the case has been scattered over multiple jurisdictions in Louisiana, Texas, California and eventually in 2006 up to the Supreme Court, which allowed Smith the right to try and collect on the inheritance by sending the case back to the courts.
During that time, Pierce Marshall died and his heirs took up the judicial battle.
A bankruptcy court in California had decided in favor of Smith, but a Texas state court ruled that J. Howard Marshall was mentally capable when he left his estate to his son and therefore his will was valid.
In a five-to-four decision, the court ruled that Marshall?s descendants and now the Marshall estate does not owe Smith?s heirs one cent.

'Dark of the Moon,' however, was the first 'Transformers' film to have 'a fully sussed-out script,' star tells MTV News.

Give Michael Bay and Shia LaBeouf credit for stepping up and admitting their cinematic gaffes. Both guys have owned up to the fact that 2009's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," despite nabbing more than $830 million at the worldwide box office, did not measure up to their popcorn aspirations.
"The second one, we had a tough go," Bay told us in February about shooting the film in the wake of the writers' strike. "It was a very, very tough thing to make a movie under those circumstances. It affected a lot of Hollywood at that time."
The key issue was the film was rushed into production without all the creative pieces fully in place; filmmakers had a huge budget but not exactly the clearest idea of the story they were trying to tell. In this sense, LaBeouf told MTV News recently in Moscow, the movie became Bay's "Apocalypse Now," the notoriously troubled, Francis Ford Coppola-directed Vietnam War film.
"[On] the second movie where we had our hiccups, there were good things, but there were more bad things," LaBeouf explained, going on to reference the documentary about the "Apocalypse" production. "Before I came out here, I watched 'Hearts of Darkness.' And in it, you have Francis Ford Coppola saying to camera, 'I have too much money, I have no script, and I'm going to shoot myself in the head.' "
LaBeouf went on to make clear he wasn't comparing his summer tentpole to that classic war film, only "the conundrum," as he put it, of undertaking a sprawling project under less-than-organized circumstances. "[It was] very similar in terms of Coppola and Mike on set," he continued. "And the insanity of the second movie."
Production on "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," the third film in the franchise, which hits theaters Wednesday, couldn't have been more different than the second. "This was the first time we've had a fully sussed-out script, with a strong through line and the best plot and arc [LaBeouf's character] Sam has ever had," the actor said. "And it's also simple in the places you want it to be and not complicated. I think the second movie you got convoluted, complicated action where you can't enjoy it. You don't know whose elbow is what, or whose face is getting impaled. You don't know who the enemy is, you don't know who the hero is. You get lost. [Bay] simplified all his action, so that you can thoroughly enjoy it and his simplification of the movie, we benefited greatly from it."
The result, as LaBeouf told us at the MTV Movie Awards, is what he views as the finest installment in the franchise. But that doesn't mean he'll be returning for a fourth go-round. Reiterating a sentiment he conveyed to us at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month, "Dark of the Moon" will be his final "Transformers" movie.
"I've learned a great deal from Michael, as a person, as an actor. As a person on his sets, you learn a lot," he said. "And it's not that I don't enjoy working with Michael. I love working with Michael. I would do any movie Michael wants to do. I just don't think there's anywhere to take it Sam."

Sometimes, having a "Hollywood Connection" isn't always a good thing.
Actor Sam Jones III, who starred in the TV show Smallville, found that out the hard way Wednesday when he was sentenced to one year in prison for conspiring to sell more than 10,000 doses of oxycodone, a painkiller known on the streets as "hillbilly heroin."
Jones, 28, who played Clark Kent's best friend Pete Ross on the first three seasons of Smallville, also must serve three years of supervised probation after he's released from a federal lockup, according to Thom Mrozek, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office.
The sentence follows his 2009 arrest during a raid at his Canoga, Calif., home by DEA agents looking to stop a drug ring trading in the illegal purchase and distribution of OxyContin, the brand name for oxycodone, which apparently got its moniker "Hillbilly Heroin" because of its widespread abuse in Appalachia states such as Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia.
Prosecutors said Jones was a co-conspirator in the scheme, dubbed the "Hollywood Connection," and he was found guilty of the crime last December. He faced up to six years in prison.
After the sentencing, Jones twittered, "Just got out of court! God is Great!! #FAITH!!!" It seems he's looking on the bright side and is pleased to have gotten only one year behind bars instead of six.
He remains free on bond until he surrenders to authorities to begin serving his sentence.
But his jail sentence isn't the only thing affecting Jones, who also has appeared on episodes of The Defenders, Blue Mountain State, ER and Army Wives. Last week, his ex-girlfriend, Playboy model Karissa Shannon (one-half of the 21-year-old Shannon twins), moved out of his home and into the Playboy Mansion to be with Hugh Hefner, according to E! Online.

With the massive success of the ?Lord of the Rings? films, there?s already all kinds of anticipation for the forthcoming ?The Hobbit? flick.
And Peter Jackson has finally released images of the new characters on the set, generating tons of buzz in the shots from Entertainment Weekly
.
Jackson sang the praises of Martin Freeman, who plays Bilbo Baggins, during a recent interview about the film.
''He fits the ears and he's got some very nice feet. I think he's got the biggest hobbit feet we've had so far. They're a little bit hard to walk in, but he's managed to figure out the perfect hobbit gait.''
As for Ian McKellen, Peter mused, ''He's in fantastic form. In a way, his role in 'The Hobbit' has more technical difficulties than 'Lord of the Rings' did, because he has scenes with 14 smaller characters ? obviously the dwarves and the hobbit are shorter. ... I remember saying to him, 'Look, this isn't "Waiting for Godot" or "King Lear." This is "The Hobbit." This is the real thing.??
