All is well between Lady Gaga and "Weird Al" Yankovic. After some initial drama over his parody of "Born This Way," Gaga eventually gave Al her stamp of approval.

When MTV News caught up with Weird Al on Monday night at the "Bad Teacher" premiere in New York City, he told us the pop star is actually of a fan of his track, "Perform This Way."

"Where we stand is my music video 'Perform This Way' world-premiered [Monday] and is doing quite well," he said. "My album comes out [today]," he said of Alpocalypse, which was released on Tuesday (June 21). "It all got resolved."

On the Gaga parody track, he sings, "Got my straight jacket today/ It's made of gold lamé/ No, not because I'm crazy/ I perform this way." Then he goes on to lampoon, among other topics, that famous MTV VMA meat dress: "I strap prime rib to my feet/ Cover myself with raw meat/ I'll bet you've never seen a skirt steak worn this way."

Initially, it seemed Gaga wasn't too pleased with the song's lyrics, but according to Al, she has come around. So, what exactly happened between Al and Mother Monster before things got straightened out?

"It was a big misunderstanding, miscommunication," he explained. "The bottom line is it's a happy ending. Lady Gaga approves it; she's totally cool and she really likes the parody."

In the brand-new video, Al portrays Gaga in some of her signature looks, from her Grammy egg to her bubble dress, but it wasn't easy to narrow down wardrobe for the clip.

"It's a challenge because she's got so many different looks," he said. "I mean, she's got such a bigger-than-life persona, so a big part of figuring out the video is figuring out how we're going to do two-dozen costumes in three minutes. On top of putting my head on a woman's body, that was difficult as well. So [making the video took] a lot of CG effects and wardrobe, basically."

Gaga isn't the only superstar lampooned on Alpocalypse. Al also has some fun with Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and T.I., to name a few. "It's very eclectic, it's very odd, which I guess you come to expect from a guy like me."

They are now known as the Vancouver Riot Kissing Couple. But Scott Jones and Alex Thomas were just playing tourist last week.

The couple hit the the streets following Game 7 of the NHL Finals - a contest won by the Boston Bruins, 4-0 - because they figured "something big" and worth experiencing would happen.

Unfortunately, they were right.

Scott Jones and Alex Thomas Interview

Angry fans burned police cars and caused such mayhem that police came out in force, using riot gear to subdue the crazy crowd.

In the middle of it all, Thomas was pushed down (you can see the incident occur in the video above), Jones rushed to her air and planted a kiss on her lips... just as a photographer snapped a photo that has circulated the globe and made the pair into instant celebrities.

“I was just trying to calm her down,’’ Scott told Matt Lauer and Ann Curry on Today. “It was pretty scary for her, and it seemed like the best thing to do."

Thomas wasn't at all surprised by the gesture.

“I would never have expected anything less,’’ she said. “We’ve had a great six months, so it’s kind of amazing that there was someone there to take a photo of that and capture that.’’

The pair is planning to move to Australia, Jones' native land, where Scott hopes this publicity can help his stand-up comedy career.

Bruce Springsteen Says Goodbye to Pal Clarence Clemons

Bruce Springsteen Says Goodbye to Pal Clarence Clemons

Music lost a legend on June 18, and Bruce Springsteen lost a great friend. The New Jersey-born rocker is mourning the loss of E Street Band member Clarence Clemons, who died at age 69, after suffering a stroke.

"Clarence lived a wonderful life," Springsteen, 61, said on his website. "He carried within him a love of people that made them love him. He created a wondrous and extended family. He loved the saxophone, loved our fans and gave everything he had every night he stepped on stage."

"His loss is immeasurable," The Boss continued. "And we are honored and thankful to have known him and had the opportunity to stand beside him for nearly forty years. He was my great friend, my partner, and with Clarence at my side, my band and I were able to tell a story far deeper than those simply contained in our music. His life, his memory, and his love will live on in that story and in our band."

Clemons played the saxophone alongside Springsteen for almost four decades. The duo had a unique chemistry and gave their audience a glimpse into their playful relationship with every performance. Like Bruce, we'll miss that certain magic that only "The Big Man" could bring to the stage.
