Paris Hilton Talks Sex Tape

Paris Hilton Talks Sex Tape

Seven years ago, a guy by the name of Rick Salomon released a sex tape -- titled One Night in Paris -- that he'd shot with his ex-girlfriend: heiress, socialite and party girl Paris Hilton. Hilton, who had no idea Salomon was releasing the tape, skyrocketed to infamy... and she's been a tabloid fixture ever since. On Tuesday, in a joint interview with her mom Kathy Hilton on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight, Paris opened up about just how devastating that experience was.

"This was not just some random guy," Hilton said. "This was someone I was with for a few years." Her main reaction to the tape being made public was a feeling of "betrayal," she said. "I can't believe that he would do something like that to me. It's something that changed my life forever."

Ostensibly on Morgan's show to promote her reality show The World According to Paris (premiering tonight at 10 p.m. on Oxygen), Hilton described in excruciating detail the impact the sex tape scandal has had on her, as a visibly emotional Kathy Hilton sat beside her. "When I was a little girl," Paris said, "I looked up to these people like Princess Diana and these women, and I feel like he took that away from me. This is not what I planned. I didn't want to be known as that."

Known as what? Paris elaborated: "Now when people look at me they think I'm something I'm not just because of one incident one night with someone I was in love with. People assume, 'Oh she's a slut,' just because of one thing that happened to me. It's hard because I'll never... I'll have to live with that for the rest of my life and explain it to my children. It's something that has changed my life forever and I'll never be able to erase it."

While the sex tape debacle obviously did not stop Hilton in her tracks, and she continues to work, she feels that the unfair labels have followed her around ever since 2004. Though she's no stranger to scandal -- she's known as much for her wild weekends and run-ins with the law as her business and entertainment pursuits -- Hilton hopes that The World According to Paris will show the public another side of her personality. Yes, she lives a jet-setting, glamorous lifestyle -- but she also works hard, and keeps close contact with family and friends.

We think it stinks that an ex-boyfriend would release such a private video to the public in the hopes that he could cash in on what was actually an intimate relationship. It is a huge betrayal of trust. And we hope that this new reality show does give Hilton a chance to show the world what's really inside Paris. (Watch the interview below.)

Who Should Mark-Paul Gosselaar Date Next?

Mark-Paul Gosselaar

Let's all just admit it—Mark-Paul Gosselaar, aka Zack Morris, is the cutest and we've all had a crush on him since the days of "Saved by the Bell." Just this morning, I read that in an interview for Maxim, he was asked what he say if he encountered Becky the Duck in the afterlife. He responded, "This is the place where oil can't hurt you." Awwww.

I also read today that Mark-Paul is once again a single man. His divorce from Lisa Ann Russell, an actress he met on the set of "Saved by the Bell: The College Years," has been finalized and they are dunzo after 14 years. I'm sure Mark-Paul is dealing with a lot of mixed feelings at the moment, but we thought we'd take a minute to suggest some people for him to date, when he's ready to get back out there.

Beyonce Premieres 'Best Thing I Never Had'

Breakup tune, penned by B and Babyface, serves as second single off singer's new album, 4.

With "Me, Myself and I," "Irreplaceable" and even "If I Were a Boy," Beyoncé has proven that she excels at delivering top-notch pop&B, need-you-no-more-type jams. Her new single, "Best Thing I Never Had," which she co-wrote with Babyface and released on Wednesday morning (June 1), is just the latest entry in that category.

Following the eccentric dance sounds of her lead single "Run the World (Girls)," Bey takes things down a notch on this midtempo cut off her new album, 4. Reminiscent of her 2006 hit "Irreplaceable," the song has the pop star taking aim at a former lover, admitting that she no longer desires him after discovering his deceitful ways.

"I wanted you bad/ I'm so through with it/ Cuz honestly you turned out to be the best thing I never had/ You turned out to be the best thing I never had/ And I'm gon' always be the best thing you never had/ I bet it sucks to be you right now," she confidently sings on the chorus.

With its radio-friendly appeal and catchy chorus, "Best Thing I Never Had" sounds not unlike a song you'd hear during a Broadway musical. That may be because, as Beyoncé has revealed, she collaborated with the band from "Fela!" for "a couple of days" to gain inspiration from the play's subject, Nigerian musician Fela Kuti.

On the single artwork for "Best Thing I Never Had," a platinum-blond Beyoncé strikes a pose in a small bathroom. Sporting a tight-fitting dress, the pop star holds red lipstick up to a mirror after writing "King B" on it.

In addition to Babyface, it seems that the pop superstar has also collaborated recently with OneRepublic. "Just finished mix on Beyoncé song — last one to make her album, once again she blew me away vocally, this is sumthin different — hope ya like!" the band tweeted on Tuesday.

'Two and a Half Men' Won't Try for Best Comedy Series Emmy

'Two and a Half Men' Won't Try for Best Comedy Series Emmy

Here's something new for Charlie Sheen to rant about.

Though it's been nominated three times, Two And a Half Men has never won the Emmy for outstanding comedy series. And it looks like the hit show won't be winning one this year, either -- its producers have decided not to submit Men's troubled eighth season for Emmy consideration in that big category.

Obviously, the show had to wrap early this year in response to Sheen's public flameout back in January. But producers still could have made a bid for Emmy love; they had filmed 16 episodes, more than enough to be eligible. An insider at Warner Bros. TV tells Deadline.com that those involved in the decision didn't consider it appropriate to put the show in the running, given all the negative hype that Sheen had generated this year.

They have, however, submitted the names of Sheen's costars -- Jon Cryer, Holland Taylor, Angus T. Jones and Conchata Ferrell -- for consideration in the acting categories, and the studio will be mounting ad campaigns to support them. Sheen is naturally free to submit himself in the best actor category. Though Sheen missed the April 29 submission deadline, he is eligible to enter himself in the race belatedly -- and, given his "winning" attitude of late, that would seem like a probable next move for him.

The fact is, the show probably wouldn't have won anyway. The last time it nabbed a best comedy series nomination was in 2008. Sure, it's the highest-rated comedy on the air, but its Emmy appeal has been relegated mostly to the acting races (Cryer won for outstanding supporting actor in 2009). Of course, if there was a category for juiciest behind-the-scenes drama, the show would win hands-down.
