'We actually filmed three videos in one day,' Ross boasts to MTV News about busy stretch, which also included DJ Khaled's 'Welcome to My Hood.'

Since Rick Ross put together his new Maybach Music Group roster, the Bawse has been working overtime.
Ross has been scooping up artists for his Warner Bros.-distributed MMG label, recording for the imprint's first compilation (Self Made, Vol.1) and filming music videos at a rapid pace.
In an interview with MTV News, Ross spoke about his work ethic, boasting that he shot a trio of music videos within a 24-hour time span. Two of the clips — "Pandemonium," featuring Ross' new recruits Wale and Meek Mill, and "Play Your Part" — will appear on Self Made, Vol.1.
"We actually filmed three videos in one day," Ross said backstage at the New Orleans stop on Lil Wayne's I Am Still Music Tour. "We filmed 'Play Your Part' and 'Pandemonium.' We actually filmed all the way until 7 a.m., until it was time to go shoot [DJ] Khaled's 'Welcome to My Hood' [video]."
For Rick, the inspiration behind "Pandemonium," which is this week's MTV Jam of the Week, was simple: "We started in the back, now we the MCs in the front, and that was the way that we all felt. You know, Meek Mill just being released from jail, his whole situation, his father being slain, just his whole story just [smelled] like triumph. Wale's story and us all sitting in the room and us all believing in our abilities."
"Play Your Part" features Chester French frontman D.A. Wallach singing on the hook. "I sent him the track, and he put an incredible chorus on there and it was swagged out," Ross said. "And when he came to the video, it was just the energy he brought. It was super cool."
Self Made, Vol.1 hits stores May 24.

Yep, you guessed it: There's an app for that.
Westminster Abbey -- the London site of Prince William and Kate Middleton's April 29 nuptials -- this week launched an app for Android, iPhone and iPad that promises to give a realistic tour of the royal church (pictured).
The "Abbey 3D" app opens at the Great West Door, the spot where Middleton will start her walk down the aisle with her father to the High Altar. Flashing up along the way are "hotspots" of information about key areas of the Abbey, such as the Grave of the Unknown Warrior, and their significance on the day of the wedding.
Meanwhile, The Royal Collection, the monarchy's official assemblage of all things royal, also launched a new royal weddings app, which lets users relive seven royal weddings, starting with Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1840 up to Prince Charles' wedding to Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, in 2005. No word on if the application will be updated to include the upcoming wedding of Prince William and his princess-to-be, though it seems likely given the timing of the app's release.
But for information on the nuptials of past royals, the app includes images of wedding dresses and jewelry, gifts exchanged between bride and groom, presents from family and friends, wedding cakes and flowers.
The app, available in eight languages for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, as well as on the Android platform, is the first of what will eventually include apps on the changing of the guard and state banquets, according to The Guardian newspaper.
The move to smartphones represents another jump for the monarchy into today's technology, which already has a presence on Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, the Royal Channel on YouTube and assorted official websites.
Other less official royal wedding-centric smartphone apps include those with live coverage of the upcoming wedding day, weather forecasts for Westminster Abbey, details on royal protocol and an alarm clock setting that plays royal-themed music like "God Save the Queen" and "Rule Britannia."

Actress talks to MTV News about fans' dedication to co-star Robert Pattinson.

Reese Witherspoon is certainly no stranger to dealing with the mass hysteria that Robert Pattinson — with his devoted "Twilight" fanbase — brings with him. While filming "Water for Elephants" in Tennessee last year, the Oscar-winning actress recalled to MTV News, "The women lining up outside the set — it was just unbelievable — till 5 o'clock in the morning waiting to just glimpse him."
So it must have felt a bit like déjà vu for Witherspoon at Sunday (April 17) night's world premiere of "Water for Elephants" in New York. Witherspoon and her sought-after co-star (as well as fellow castmembers like Christoph Waltz and Hal Holbrook and director Francis Lawrence) arrived at the famous Ziegfeld Theatre in Manhattan to throngs of eager, screaming RPattz fans. Before hitting the red carpet, both stars crossed the street to greet fans who had braved a major storm over the weekend just to get a peek at them.
After Witherspoon — who arrived without husband Jim Toth — met with fans, she and Pattinson stopped by for a quick chat with MTV News on the red carpet. "I was just signing autographs," said the actress, who wore an elegant white dress to the event.
Rather than begrudge the Pattinson faithful (whom Witherspoon has compared to Leonardo DiCaprio's fans during his "Titanic" heyday), the 35-year-old actress was impressed by those who have been showing their support for "Water for Elephants." "[It's] incredible. Their dedication to the movie, the book," she said, adding, "[and] Rob!"
Witherspoon, who joked that the excited fans "like me OK," realized that Pattinson was, by far, the main attraction at the "Water for Elephants" premiere. "I'm like a consolation prize," Witherspoon kidded about the fans — who, according to Pattinson, were "very nice" — that met her on the red carpet.
Witherspoon has the luxury of not doing as many premieres and public events as her handsome co-star. "I do it once a year," the actress estimated, but added that "it's nice" to interact with fans face-to-face because filming is "so isolated."
"Water for Elephants" opens in theaters on Friday, April 22.

Even the help of swift-footed John Travolta couldn't get Kirstie Alley more points from the judges on Monday night's "Dancing With the Stars."
Alley's "Look Who's Talking" co-star appeared in a pre-taped segment as her "Dance Doctor." The actress and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, have been grabbing headlines the last few weeks with their dancing mishaps, and Travolta, who has swiveled his hips in films like "Pulp Fiction," "Grease" and "Saturday Night Fever," gave his friend a few pointers, joking in the segment that Alley should wear gym shoes instead of high heels.
Still, the comedic bit wasn't enough to bolster a higher score. The two earned 23 points out of 30 (only one point better than the week before), putting them ahead of three couples, who each earned 22 points.
Here's how the others fared:
Hines Ward and Kym Johnson: The football star soared to the top of the leaderboard with his rumba to "God Bless the U.S.A." "You make it look so easy," judge Carrie Ann Inaba said. "You have the best hip action I have seen in a long time." Score: 27/30.
Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas: Last week's critical darlings maintained a high position with a samba done to Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A." Score: 26/30.
Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke: The judges loved the wrestler's interpretation of the Viennese waltz to "America the Beautiful." "I feel like we've underestimated you," Inaba told him. Head judge Len Goodman gave him 8 points. Score: 26/30.
Romeo and Chelsie Hightower: The two performed a foxtrot to "New York, New York," and impressed the judges with the improvement in Romeo's posture and arm movements. Score: 26/30.
Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel: The former playmate and reality star danced a foxtrot to "Yankee Doodle," and the judges said she's improving. "It's much better than last week," Goodman told her. "It was fun and it was entertaining." Still, it wasn't enough to keep them out of the bottom three. Score: 22/30.
Petra Nemcova and Dmitry Chaplin: The supermodel and her partner quick-stepped to Elvis' "Viva Las Vegas," but judges were none too impressed. They liked that she handled the fast pace of the performance but said that this was far from her best dance. Score: 22/30.
Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff: Once the early darlings of this season, they've dropped to a three-way tie for the lowest score this week. Their samba to "Sweet Home Alabama" did little to convince the judges that they should be contenders for the title this season. Goodman said the main problem is that Macchio isn't consistent enough and needs more rhythm. Score: 22/30.
