TMZ has obtained a statement from Charlie Sheen on his firing from "Two and a Half Men" today: " This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can… Read more
Hey Truebies, you know that iconic scene from the Southern Vampire Mysteries books where Eric dons pink spandex as a favor to Sookie? Well, good news, because True Blood star Alexander...
Beware of snarling dog sweaters. This star looked frighteningly out of place on the red carpet when she donned her oversize version with tights instead of pants, then topped it off and a tuxedo...
With so many points of clarifications that we could use from social conservatives — Single motherhood is bad! But so is abortion! — one would think The New York Times' conservative columnist, Ross Douthat, would have plenty of rich, complicated topics to dig into. But in an op-ed column that ran yesterday, Douhat argued in defense of monogamy, praising social conservatives for their "optimistic" attitudes about love and happiness, and even went so far as to cheer on abstinence-only education sex ed programs that delay sexual behavior in teenagers.
Get a load of this.
Ke$ha will be shooting a lot more than her signature glitter on fans during her upcoming "Get Sleazy" tour.

Saturday Night Live (NBC, Saturdays, 11:30 p.m. ET) tends to work best when it sticks to that old adage: "It's funny because it's true!" With Miley Cyrus hosting this past weekend, you had to wonder whether the show would take jabs at the cookie-cutter silliness of Disney Channel shows and the perky tweeny boppers (like Cyrus) who get famous off of them.
Happily, it did, and Cyrus played right along. In a sketch about the Disney Channel Acting School, teen stars Cyrus and Raven-Symoné (Kenan Thompson) gave tips to aspiring Disney Channel actors. "On the Disney channel every person has to be the loudest person in the room," they instructed. And "make sure your clothes are as loud and crazy as your acting!" True. And funny.
While many of the other skits fell flat, there was one highlight: The best sketch of the night was The Miley Cyrus Show, a regular skit starring Vanessa Bayer as Cyrus. Bayer played Cyrus in her usual, peppy, "pretty cool" way, while her guest Justin Bieber (Cyrus) tried too hard to impress her with his hip hop mannerisms. Speaking his signature moves out loud as he executes them -- "wink, cocky nod, point" -- he then gives props to his "swagger coach," who's prompting him from the sidelines.
Props should really go to Cyrus for playing along with the gag, while hilariously skewering Bieber (and mentioning her salvia scandal!) in the process. Heaven knows these two make enough money to roll with a joke at their expense!
The pop princess paid a visit to Ryan Seacrest's radio show Friday to dish about her upcoming album Femme Fatale (which drops March 29). But before playing her new dance track "Til the World Ends," Seacrest steered the conversation to the topic of Spears' boyfriend, Jason Trawick.
"I knew your boyfriend Jason when he was pudgy," Seacrest teased. "And now he's fit, and he's got zero percent body fat!"
But Spears, 29, was quick to defend her man. "He wasn't pudgy!" she said. "He's definitely ripped now...He just got on this health kick."
The singer explained that she and Trawick help motivate each other in the fitness department. "We love to work out together," she said. "We take walks."
But when they're not hitting the gym, Spears and her man love to kick back and relax. "We're really normal," she said "We like to just watch movies."
Spears and Trawick's "normal" romance must be a nice change of pace for the pop star -- who's had her share of public drama in her love life. Their relationship made headlines in December after Star magazine printed a story claiming that Trawick had physically abused Spears.
But the singer promptly came forward to deny the claims and send a loud and clear message to the tabloid. "Yawl can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana ass!" she twittered. You tell 'em, Brit-Brit!
Lindsay Lohan believes the sale of surveillance footage of her alleged necklace ganking may vindicate her, validate her excuse and play right into her hand.
She may actually have a point on all counts.
Sources close to Lohan say she thinks the fact that Kamofie & Co. sold the tape proves what she's been saying all along - they're using her to cash in.
VINDICATED?Lindsay believes she is, or will be. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]
The jewelry store worked with a broker to peddle the tape, despite the fact lawyers for the prosecution asked them not to, fearing it would ruin their case.
Now the tape is out there and sources close to Lindsay say she feels vindicated by the fact that the store capitalized on the situation, motivated by money.
Amazingly, Lindsay's steadfast refusal to accept jail time in a plea deal may end up being a smart move, since the alleged victim hurt its own credibility.
Lindsay hopes the store's actions sway public opinion - and the prosecution - to see things her way. Check out surveillance pics of her in the store at ET.
Charlie Sheen kicked off his first "Sheen's Korner" webcast last night with a "shout out" to his five children - Cassandra, Sam, Lola, and twins Max and Bob.
Telling them, "Daddy loves you," he took a swig from Bob's blue sippy cup and added, "If you're watching, tell mom to leave the room. It's on."
