'Glee' Cast Breaks Elvis' Hot 100 Record

The Glee phenomenon has officially dethroned the King.
The super-talented cast of the hit FOX show has surpassed Elvis Presley for having the most songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart over the course of the list's 52-year history. The craziest part is that Glee's popular hits have broken Presley's record of 108 in a span of just 18 months! With the six Glee singles that debuted on the chart this week, the cast has hit an all-time high of 113 list-making melodies.
Just to point out, the Glee cast's success is based on remakes of songs, as opposed to Presley's originals, and their time on the chart is much less significant than those of the Memphis icon.
Though the TV series has also only had two songs make it to the top 10, there's no denying that Glee is a force to be reckoned with. The majority of the show's stars will head out on a sure-to-be sold-out North American tour this summer, which should certainly give Gleeks something to sing about.
