On Wednesday, during another fresh edition of "RapFix Live" — which featured super producer Just Blaze on the couch and Atlanta MC Soulja Boy via Skype — Brooklyn's own Saigon delighted viewers with tales of his ups and downs in the rap game.

Some fans will remember Sai, a charismatic rapper with a checkered past, from his guest appearances on the HBO hit show "Entourage." Appearing on a handful of episodes between 2005 and 2006, Saigon played a version of himself as an up-and-coming rapper who was under the managerial tutelage of Turtle (Jerry Ferrara).

Sai shared a humorous story about how — after drinking one too many — he tried to get one of the show's executive producers, Mark Wahlberg, to dust off his Marky Mark persona and hop back into the rap scene.

"You know, I got drunk with Mark Wahlberg one time," Saigon told host Sway. "I don't think he was drunk, but I was drunk. We was at one of them parties and I was in his ear, I'm like, 'Yo man, you ever thought about doing a new album, man?' And he's looking at me like, 'Is this kid retarded or something?' "

Saigon kept trying to rope the stunned Hollywood star back into the world of rap. "I was like, 'Yo, man, I feel the '[Good] Vibrations' joint. Marky Mark, that sh-- was hard! We was rocking that in the 'hood,' " Saigon laughed. "I ain't gonna lie, I liked the song when it came out."

Maybe Saigon can rally up the rest of the Funky Bunch for a reunion?

Do you think Saigon and Mark should team up for a rap collabo? Tell us in the comments!
